There is a total of eight delivery status codes used in PingSMS in order to track your messages. They are as follows:-
- SENT
- DELIVERED
- FAILED
- NCPR
- QUEUED
- SMSC_SUBMIT
- SMSC_REJECT
- INVLD_NO
So, let us now understand the meaning of these eight status codes.
SENT = The SENT status indicates that the messages are being sent to the SMSC (telecom operator).
DELIVERED = The DELIVERED status means that the messages have been delivered to the phone.
FAILED = The FAILED status means that the messages have been failed to send the messages to the phone due to network congestion.
NCPR = The NCPR status means that the number has subscribed to the DND (DO NOT DISTURB) services.
QUEUED = The QUEUED status means that the messages have been queued on the SMSC (telecom operator).
SMSC_SUBMIT = The SMSC_SUBMIT status means that the messages have been submitted to the SMSC and is waiting for the messages to get delivered.
SMSC_REJECT = The SMSC_REJECT status means that the messages have been rejected by the SMSC due to unknown subscriber, invalid destination number, etc.
INVLD_NO = The INVLD_NO status means that the phone number is invalid.
