How to send Bulk SMS using PingSMS Bulk SMS Service?

Bulk SMS is used to send SMS to multiple numbers at a click of a button. The numbers can be loaded from CSV (Comma-separated values file ), TXT (Text File) or Group from the PingSMS contacts.

The tutorial assumes that you already have an account with PingSMS. If you need to create a new account click here or visit https://www.pingsms.in/signup

Option A: Bulk SMS using CSV (Comma-separated values file )

Steps to send Bulk SMS using CSV File :-

Step 1: Click on Bulk SMS option as shown in the image A1 or click here.

Step 2: Select your SMS type either Transactional or Promotional. The difference between Transactional and Promotional SMS can be found here.

Step 3: Your SMS needs a custom Sender ID to promote brand awareness. Get a FREE Sender ID approved for your business by clicking here.

Step 4: Select File Type as CSV.

Step 5: Click Browse and navigate to your mobile number list in .csv(MS-DOS) format. Select it and press OK. Each phone number is separated by Enter Character as shown below or download the attached sample file contact.csv

Step 6: Enter your message to send.

Step 7: Either click to send the SMS now or click to schedule it for a later date and time.

Option B: Bulk SMS using TXT (Text File)

Steps to send Bulk SMS using TXT File :-

Step 1: Click on Bulk SMS option as shown in the image B1 or click here.

Step 2: Select your SMS type either Transactional or Promotional. The difference between Transactional and Promotional SMS can be found here.

Step 3: Your SMS needs a custom Sender ID to promote brand awareness. Get a FREE Sender ID approved for your business by clicking here.

Step 4: Select File Type as Notepad.

Step 5: Click Browse and navigate to your mobile number list in .txt format. Select it and press OK. Each phone number is separated by Enter Character as shown below or download the attached sample file custom.txt

Step 6: Enter your message to send.

Step 7: Either click to send the SMS now or click to schedule it for a later date and time.

Option C: Bulk SMS using Group

Steps to send Bulk SMS using Group :-

Step 1: Click on Bulk SMS option as shown in the image C1 or click here.

Step 2: Select your SMS type either Transactional or Promotional. The difference between Transactional and Promotional SMS can be found here.

Step 3: Your SMS needs a custom Sender ID to promote brand awareness. Get a FREE Sender ID approved for your business by clicking here.

Step 4: Select File Type as Group.

Step 5: Enter group/s name to which you want to send your messages. Multiple groups can be selected and are separated as individual elements.

Step 6: Enter your message to send.

Step 7: Either click to send the SMS now or click to schedule it for a later date and time.
